Binnacle Co. is a trade name of Binnacle Consulting LLC, a New York limited liability company based in Rochester, NY. These terms cover every engagement unless a signed agreement says otherwise. Where the two differ, the signed agreement wins.
What we sell
Advisory and coaching: team sessions, leadership coaching and advisory retainers. We give judgment and recommendations. We don’t build, staff or ship your product, and the decisions remain yours.
Pricing and billing
- Every engagement is quoted in writing before work begins.
- Retainers and coaching are billed monthly in advance.
- Team sessions are billed half on booking and half on delivery.
- Hourly work is billed after delivery.
- Invoices are due within 15 days of issue.
Cancellation and refunds
- Retainers and coaching. Either side may end the engagement with 30 days’ written notice. Any prepaid months not yet begun are refunded in full.
- Team sessions. Cancel up to 7 days before the session for a full refund. Inside 7 days, the booking deposit is kept and the balance is not charged.
- Hourly work. Non-refundable once delivered.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
Confidentiality
What you share with us stays with us. We don’t name clients or describe their work without written permission.
Liability
Our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees you paid us for that engagement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
